I have some sad news and some happy news. First, the sad news: Moto will be "on vacation" for a while. He's suffering from a bowed tendon. He started limping last week after cantering on the lunge line. I'll hear more about his diagnosis and prognosis tomorrow. Now, the happy news: today I paid a visit to a barn (just 10 minutes from home!) where my riding instructor keeps her two horses. The barn owner is fostering two rescue yearlings. These timid little guys are so sweet and fuzzy and fun. I helped to groom them and watched them play with a ball during their turn out. It's so wonderful to know that they've been rescued!
