I bought another pumpkin today. Southern California weather isn't ideal for fall and winter holidays, but we can't start breaking traditions just because the pumpkins turn squishy in two days, and the Christmas tree poses a severe fire hazard within just a week of delivery. The roasted pumpkin seeds were delicious, and the Jack-o-Lantern was spooktacular.
