Depending on the region, Christmas trees take about 8-10 years to grow. In high altitude places like Colorado, add another 5 or 6 years. Ten years--wow. What are the odds that I'll still be interested in Christmas tree farming in 10 years?

O Christmas Tree
So I poked around a little today and, somewhat surprisingly, found lots of information on starting a Christmas tree farm. For example, North Carolina State University put together an especially detailed booklet that includes Christmas tree fertility, pest management, shaping, and harvesting information, as well as marketing, record keeping, and tax tips.
