I got a text from our goat girl today: Would I be interested in raising Grover and Neko as bottle babies? Unfortunately, their mama has mastitis and can no longer nurse the twins. Ideally, they wouldn't have been weaned until the first week of May.They'll each require a bottle three to four times a day. I wasn't expecting two more goats until May, but I'm up for the challenge. I agreed to take the babies after the weekend; we'll need a couple days to get the goat pen ready.
Zero to four kids in two weeks. Life moves fast on the farm.
